     Katherine Elizabeth Bolton was the daughter of Cornelius Bolton and Eliza McDonnell.1 She married Pierse George Barron, son of John Barron and Mary Barron, on 25 January 1815.1 She died on 27 December 1865.1
     From 25 January 1815, her married name became Barron.1

     Denis Godley was the son of John Godley and Katharine Daly.1,2 He married Katherine Elizabeth Barron, daughter of Pierse George Barron and Katherine Elizabeth Bolton, on 17 December 1850.3 He died on 20 January 1890, without issue.3
     Denis Godley gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 74th Highlanders.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He held the office of Secretary to the Land Commission between 1881 and 1888.1
