     John Baker married Barbara Barton, daughter of Saunders Barton and Joan Lower, in a childless marriage.1 He died in 1819, aged 86.1
     John Baker lived at Castle Bamford, Castleinch, County Kilkenny, Ireland, which subsequently passed to the Sullivan and Creaghe families, but in 1975 only the walls remained.1 He purchased Goslingstown, Goslan, County Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1814.1
