     Jane Barton lived at Ballyline Lodge, Callan, County Kilkenny, Ireland, which she had bult for herself and her brother Benjamin on his return from India.1

     Catherine Hughes was the daughter of Thomas Hughes and Catherine Bryan.1 She married William Barton, son of Benjamin Barton and Anne Moor, in December 1830.1 She died in 1861.1
     From December 1830, her married name became Barton.1
