     William Henry Barton was born in July 1855.2 He was the son of Benjamin Barton and Anne Bowers.1 He married Fanny Louisa Pratt, daughter of Robert Pratt, on 3 April 1902 in a childless marriage.2 He died on 30 November 1930 at age 75.2
     William Henry Barton was educated at Kilkenny College, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1906.2 He lived at Ballyline House, Callan, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2
