     Frances Anne Beamish was baptised on 9 May 1822.1 She was the daughter of John Samuel Beamish and Arabella Swayne.1 She married Frederick Caleb McCarthy, son of Justin McCarthy, on 10 June 1847 in a childless marriage.1
     From 10 June 1847, her married name became McCarthy.1

     Cornet William Henry Slingsby Beamish was born on 8 June 1836.1 He was the son of Captain Samuel George Beamish and Hannah Slingsby.1 He married Katherine Julia Fougère, daughter of James Fougère, on 27 April 1868.1 He died on 26 February 1899 at age 62.1
     Cornet William Henry Slingsby Beamish fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He retired from the military in 1860, with the rank of Cornet, late of the 14th Light Dragoons.1
