     Richard Turner Becher was baptised on 4 September 1712 at St. Mary, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Edward Becher and Bridget Lowe.1 He married, firstly, Anne Harding on 26 October 1742 at North Muskham.1,2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Lowe, daughter of Samuel Lowe and Elizabeth Sherbrooke, on 16 November 1761 at Southwell St. Mary Minster, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.3,2 He died circa December 1770.2 He was buried on 13 December 1770 at St. Mary, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.2
     He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-law.1 He lived at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.1
