     Mary Gammell Stewart Davidson is the daughter of William Smytton Davidson.¹ She married, firstly, Theobald Blake Butler, son of Theobald FitzWalter Butler, in 1921.¹ She and Theobald Blake Butler were divorced in 1930.¹ She married, secondly, Norman Fox-Andrews in 1931.¹

     James Roland Blake Fox-Andrews was born on 24 March 1922.¹ He was the son of Theobald Blake Butler and Mary Gammell Stewart Davidson.¹ He married Angela Bridget Swift, daughter of Brigadier Charles Copley Swift, in 1950.¹ He died in 2002.¹
     James Roland Blake Fox-Andrews was baptised with the name of James Roland Blake Butler.¹ He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ On 1939 his name was legally changed to James Roland Blake Fox-Andrews.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1940 in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He held the office of Bencher of Gray's Inn in 1946.¹ He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1949 entitled to practice as a barrister.¹ He was editor of The Institute of Arbitrators Journal between 1950 and 1954.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (F.C.I.Arb.).¹ He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1968.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Winchester in 1971.¹ He was Recorder of the Crown Court between 1972 and 1985.¹ He held the office of Circuit Judge between 1985 and 1994.¹

     
     Brigadier Charles Copley Swift was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).¹

     Angela Bridget Swift was the daughter of Brigadier Charles Copley Swift.¹ She married James Roland Blake Fox-Andrews, son of Theobald Blake Butler and Mary Gammell Stewart Davidson, in 1950.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     From 1950, her married name became Fox-Andrews.

     Jonathan Mark Piers Fox-Andrews was born in 1952.¹ He is the son of James Roland Blake Fox-Andrews and Angela Bridget Swift.¹ He married Rosemary Jenks, daughter of Dennis Jenks, in 1984.¹
