     Cecil Harmsworth King was born on 20 February 1901 at Totteridge, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Lucas White King and Geraldine Adelaide Hamilton Harmsworth.1 He married, firstly, Agnes Margaret Cooke, daughter of Canon George Albert Cooke and Frances Helen Anderson, in 1923.1 He and Agnes Margaret Cooke were divorced.1 He married Dame Ruth Railton, daughter of Reverend David Railton and Ruby Marion Wilson, in 1962.1 He died on 17 April 1987 at age 86 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
