     Sir Hildebrand Alfred Beresford Harmsworth, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 May 1901.1 He is the son of Sir Hildebrand Aubrey Harmsworth, 1st Bt. and Kathleen Mary Berton.1 He married Elen Billenstein, daughter of Nicolaj Billenstein, on 4 June 1925.1 He died on 15 November 1977 at age 76.1
     Sir Hildebrand Alfred Beresford Harmsworth, 2nd Bt. was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Harmsworth, of Freshwater Grove, in the Parish of Shipley, co. Sussex [U.K., 1922] on 18 April 1929.1 He lived in 2003 Aucassin, Le Vallon, St Clair, Lavandou, France.1
