     Richard Dease was born in 1603.1 He was the son of James Dease and Margaret Leicester.1 He married Mary Brown, they also had three daughters.1 He died in 1650.1
     Richard Dease forfeited his estates after the 1641 Rebellion, but bought them back from the Pakenhams with the proceeds of the Cavan property, which had been held in trust by the Pollards of Castle Pollard.1 He lived at Turbotston, Mayne, County Westmeath, Ireland.1
