     From 9 March 1909, her married name became Moncreiffe.1

     Ronald Moncreiffe was born on 3 May 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 7th Bt. and Lady Louisa Hay-Drummond.2 He married Edith Evelyn Kathleen Worsley, daughter of Arthur Arthington Worsley, on 8 October 1906.1 He died on 6 August 1909 at age 45, without issue.1
     Ronald Moncreiffe was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Matabeleland Campaign in 1896.1 He took part in the Jameson Raid.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, on Baden Powell's staff throughout Siege of Mafeking (when not in close arrest).1
