     Oliver Minchin was the son of Major Paul Minchin and Ann Isdell.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Eliza Jane Grant was made on 2 April 1836.1 He died before 1849.1

     Eliza Jane Grant was the daughter of George Grant.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and Oliver Minchin was made on 2 April 1836.1 She died on 30 October 1882.1
     From 2 April 1836, her married name became Minchin.1

     George Minchin was the son of Humphrey Minchin and Catherine Greene.1 He died on 17 June 1775 at Charlestown, Massachusetts, U.S.A., killed in action.2
     George Minchin gained the rank of Ensign in the service of the 29th Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill on 17 June 1775.1
