     James Stoney is the son of James Johnston Stoney and Catherine Baker.1 He married Helen Dillon, daughter of Captain Luke Dillon.1
     James Stoney lived at Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He graduated with a Master of Medicine (M.D.).1

     Reverend James Johnstone Stoney was born in 1841.1 He was the son of James Stoney and Helen Dillon.1 He married Gertrude Alice Carter, daughter of John Coles Carter, in 1870.1 He died on 19 May 1900.1
     Reverend James Johnstone Stoney was the Rector at Kilnoe, Goleen, County Cork, Ireland.1

     Gertrude Alice Carter was the daughter of John Coles Carter.1 She married Reverend James Johnstone Stoney, son of James Stoney and Helen Dillon, in 1870.1 She died in August 1914.1
     From 1870, her married name became Stoney.1
