Emma Sophia Christina Durrant was the daughter of Christopher Mercer Durrant.1 She married Lt.-Col. Francis Sadleir Stoney, son of Reverend Ralph Stoney and Abigail Sadleir, on 11 June 1872.1 She died on 19 February 1930.1

Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney was born on 8 April 1873.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Sadleir Stoney and Emma Sophia Christina Durrant.1 He married Emily Maud Moore Morgan, daughter of Reverend William Moore Morgan, on 26 July 1900.1 He died on 9 April 1955 at age 82.1
Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He retired from the military in 1923, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He lived at Dunseaverick, Yateley, Hampshire, England.1
