     Robert Blood was the son of Edmund Blood and Margaret (?).1 He was buried on 16 September 1646 at Tamworth, Staffordshire, England.1

     Very Rev. Neptune Blood was born circa 1599/0.2 He was the son of Captain Edmund Blood.1 He married Elizabeth Lone, daughter of Very Rev. Higgat Lone.2 He was married three times.2 He died in 1692.2
     Very Rev. Neptune Blood was given the name of Neptune because he was born at sea.2 He was ordained on 18 March 1622/23.2 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).2 He held the office of Dean of Kilfenora.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He held the office of Prebendary of Rath between 27 January 1663/64 and 1692.2 He held the office of Vicar-General, Diocese of Kilfenora in 1676.2

     Colonel Thomas Blood was born circa 1628.1 He was the son of Thomas Blood.1 He married Mary Holcroft, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Holcroft, on 21 June 1650 at Newchurch Culcheth, Lancashire, England.1 He died on 28 August 1680.1
     Colonel Thomas Blood gained the rank of "the Reputed Colonel" in the service of the Parlimental Army.1 He was part of a plot to abduct the Lord Lieutenant from Dublin Castle in 1663.1 He lived at Sarney, Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland.1 He attempted to abduct and hang the Duke of Ormonde in 1670.1 He stormed the Tower of London in an attempt to carry off the Crown Jewels on 9 May 1671, for which he was imprisoned and forfeited his Irish estates.1 He was pardoned by King Charles II on 8 August 1671 and granted a pension worth £500 per year.1

     Mary Holcroft was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Holcroft.1 She married Colonel Thomas Blood, son of Thomas Blood, on 21 June 1650 at Newchurch Culcheth, Lancashire, England.1
