     Maj.-Gen. Sir John Noble Kennedy is the son of Reverend James Kennedy.1 He married Isabella Rosamond Georgiana Joicey-Cecil, daughter of Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil and Isabella Maud Joicey, on 21 September 1926.1
     Maj.-Gen. Sir John Noble Kennedy was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.).1 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).1

     Maud Letitia Mary Joicey-Cecil was born on 24 October 1906.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil and Isabella Maud Joicey.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Robert Hallam Studdert, son of Hallam George Studdert and Eva Studdert, on 23 December 1930.1 She died in 1973.1
     From 23 December 1930, her married name became Studdert.1

     Maj.-Gen. Robert Hallam Studdert was born on 21 November 1890.2 He was the son of Hallam George Studdert and Eva Studdert.2,3 He married Maud Letitia Mary Joicey-Cecil, daughter of Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil and Isabella Maud Joicey, on 23 December 1930.1 He died on 2 October 1968 at age 77.1
     Maj.-Gen. Robert Hallam Studdert was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1

     Hallam George Studdert was born on 20 September 1841.1 He was the son of Robert Studdert.1 He married Eva Studdert, daughter of Major George Studdert, on 26 October 1889.2 He died on 6 February 1905 at age 63.1
     Hallam George Studdert lived at Hazelwood, Quin, County Clare, Ireland.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).3
