     Benjamin Keeton was born on 13 August 1800 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He was the son of William Keeton and Mary Becher.1 He married Hannah Robinson on 23 February 1829 at Grahamstown, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.1 He died on 6 March 1877 at age 76 at South Africa.1
     Benjamin Keeton emigrated to South Africa arriving on 1820 on board the Albany.1
