David John Dugdale was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.Mech.E.).1 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cleveland in 1995.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of North Yorkshire in 1998.1 He lived in 2003 at Park House, Crathorne, Yarm, Yorkshire, North Riding, England.1
