Domnall, King of Ailech was the son of Áed Findliath, High King of Ireland and Máel Muire mi Cináed.2,3 He died in 915, possibly having become a monk or pilgrim.1
Fermanagh and Monaghan) 887–915.1 Later shared kingship with his brother NIALL.1 With suzerainty over Armagh.1 KING OF AILECH (which by now included Derry.1 Donegal and Tyrone.1 In 1083 some of his descendants were heirs to the Northern Kingdom or Kings of Ailech down to DONNCHADH, KING OF AILECH , and Ardgar, heir to Ailech (killed 1124).1
