She married William Lundy, son of James Lundy and Sarah Rusk, on 16 June 1891 at St. Finbarr's Parish Church, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland, in a Church of Ireland marriage.4 She died in 1950.5 She was buried in 1950 at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Ashburton, New Zealand, next to plot 3591.. No headstone was erected for some reason.6
     From 16 June 1891, her married name became Lundy.7 As of between 1897 and 1899, Elizabeth Chambers also went by the nick-name of Lizzie Lundy.8
