     Edward Martin Crawley-Boevey was born on 26 March 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hyde Crawley-Boevey, 5th Bt. and Frances Elizabeth Peters.2 He married Rosalie Winifred Sartorius, daughter of Colonel George Conrad Sartorius, on 31 October 1905.1 He died on 24 December 1914 at age 41, killed in action.1
     Edward Martin Crawley-Boevey gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     From 31 October 1905, her married name became Crawley-Boevey.
