     Lt.-Col. Maurice Waldegrave Noel was born on 30 December 1888.1 He was the son of Colonel William Frederick Noel and Beatrice Elizabeth Bradney.2 He married Elizabeth Christine Edith Gairdner, daughter of Charles Gairdner, in June 1920.1 He died on 19 February 1958 at age 69.1
     Lt.-Col. Maurice Waldegrave Noel was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was mentioned in desptaches.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Commander in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of Air Force Cross (A.F.C.).1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the King's Regiment.1

     Peter Maurice Noel was born on 17 February 1922.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Maurice Waldegrave Noel and Elizabeth Christine Edith Gairdner.2 He married Patricia Margaret Hill, daughter of A. C. W. Hill, on 28 June 1946.1 He died in 1984.1
     Peter Maurice Noel was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Diploma of the Imperial College (D.I.C.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant (E) in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A.M.I.Mech.E.).1
