     John Cecil Noel gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army).1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.1

     Nancy Margaret Hood lived Nettleham Hall.1 She was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 Her married name became Noel. She was Lincolnshire (see BLG ) in 1921.1 In 1942 and was killed on active service.1

     Henry Cecil Noel was born on 23 May 1868.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Gerard James Noel and Augusta Mary Lowther.2 He married, firstly, Frances Mary Cockerell, daughter of Frederick Pepys Cockerell, on 2 April 1902.1 He and Frances Mary Cockerell were divorced in 1926.1 He married, secondly, Janet Muriel Baird, daughter of William Baird and Caroline Muriel Burn-Callander, on 7 August 1926.1 He died on 28 August 1931 at age 63.1
     Henry Cecil Noel fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 17th Lancers.1
