     John de Courcy, 11th Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of Edmond 'Og' de Courcy and Sheila O'Hurley.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Cogan, daughter of William Cogan.1 He married, secondly, Mary O'Crawley, daughter of Cormac O'Crawley.3 He died on 25 July 1628.1
     John de Courcy, 11th Lord Courcy of Kinsale succeeded to the title of 11th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] in August 1599.1 On 13 December 1620 he recovered through royal favour most of the estates alienated by his predecessor.1

     Gerald de Courcy, 12th Lord Kingsale was the son of John de Courcy, 11th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Catherine Cogan.2 He married Helen FitzGerald, daughter of Sir John FitzGerald and Ellen FitzGibbon.1 He died circa 1642, without male issue.1
     Gerald de Courcy, 12th Lord Kingsale held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King Charles I in 1627.1 He succeeded to the title of 12th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] on 25 July 1628, the usuage of the title Lord Kingsale became common.1
