     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628] after 1722, de jure.1

     Eleanora Ethelston was the daughter of Charles Ethelston.1 She married Edward Nightingale, son of Edward Nightingale and Anne Charlotte Slingsby.2 She died on 14 September 1771.2

     Edward Nightingale was born on 4 September 1726.1 He was the son of Edward Nightingale and Eleanora Ethelston. He died in July 1782 at age 55, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628] on 20 October 1750, de jure.1

Captain Gamaliel Nightingale

     Captain Gamaliel Nightingale was born on 15 February 1731.1 He was the son of Edward Nightingale and Eleanora Ethelston. He married Maria Clossen, daughter of Peter Clossen.1 He died in January 1791 at age 59.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628] in July 1782, de jure.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
