     Commander Charles William Medlicott Vereker was born on 21 February 1903.1 He was the son of Major John Medlicott Vereker and Mary Agnes Cayzer.2 He married Marjorie Hughes Whatley, daughter of William Hughes Whatley, on 26 June 1937.1 He died on 26 July 1995 at age 92.1
     Commander Charles William Medlicott Vereker gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (F.I.C.S.).1 He was Vice-Consul to Kristiansand, Norway between 1948 and 1951.1 He was Assistant Ship's Manager between 1951 and 1955.1 He was the Harbour Master at Simonstown, South Africa.1 He was a legal executive of the Admiralty Court between 1957 and 1978.1
