     Norah Doreen Dods Vereker was born on 3 February 1902.1 She was the daughter of Major John Medlicott Vereker and Mary Agnes Cayzer.2 She married Admiral Sir Alan Kenneth Scott-Moncrieff, son of Robert Lawrence Scott-Moncrieff, on 8 September 1923.1 She died on 27 July 1973 at age 71.1
     From 8 September 1923, her married name became Scott-Moncrieff.
