     Rodney York de Charmoy Grey was born in 1921.1 He is the son of George Archibald Grey and Gladys Helen Complin.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Eileen Hawley, daughter of Colin Hawley, in 1945.1 He and Margaret Eileen Hawley were divorced in 1952.1 He married, secondly, Roslyn Marcus, daughter of Max Marcus, in 1952.1 He married, thirdly, Cozette d'Emmerez de Charmoy, daughter of Louis Roger Guy de'Emmerez de Charmoy, in 1970.1 He and Roslyn Marcus were divorced in 1970.1
     Rodney York de Charmoy Grey was baptised with the name of Rodney York Grey.1 He graduated from Queen's University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Canadian Air Force.1 He was with the Officer of Finance Canada.1 He graduated from Toronto University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was Assistant Deputy Minister, Department of Finance at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.1 On 1970 his name was legally changed to Rodney York de Charmoy Grey.1
