     George William Fox Kinnaird, 9th Lord Kinnaird was born on 14 April 1807.1 He was the son of Charles Kinnaird, 8th Lord Kinnaird and Lady Olivia Letitia Catherine FitzGerald.2 He married Hon. Frances Anne Georgina Ponsonby, daughter of William Francis Spencer Ponsonby, 1st Baron de Mauley of Canford and Lady Barbara Ashley-Cooper, on 14 December 1837 at Great Canford, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He died on 7 January 1878 at age 70 at Rossie Priory, Perthshire, ScotlandG, without surviving male issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Kinnaird, of Inchture, co. Perth [S., 1682] on 12 December 1826.2 He was created 1st Baron Rossie, of Rossie, co. Perth [U.K.] on 23 June 1831.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1840.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Perthshire.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) in 1857.1 He was created 1st Baron Kinnaird of Rossie, co. Perth [U.K.] on 1 September 1860, with a special remainder to his brother, Arthur.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

     Patrick Kinnaird, 4th Lord Kinnaird was born circa 1710.1 He was the son of Patrick Kinnaird, 3rd Lord Kinnaird and Lady Elizabeth Lyon.1 He died in September 1727, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Kinnaird, of Inchture, co. Perth [S., 1682] on 31 March 1715.1

     Charles Kinnaird, 5th Lord Kinnaird was the son of Patrick Kinnaird, 2nd Lord Kinnaird and Hon. Anne Fraser.1 He married Magdalene Brown, daughter of William Brown, circa 1729.1 He died on 16 July 1758, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Lord Kinnaird, 5th Lord Kinnaird [S., 1682] in September 1727.1
