     Sir Patrick Hamilton was the son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot.1 He married Elizabeth Macmorran, daughter of Ninian Macmorran, on 18 March 1613.1 He died in 1662.1
     Sir Patrick Hamilton lived at Little Preston, Scotland.1

     From 18 March 1613, her married name became Hamilton.1

     General Alexander Hamilton was the son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot.1 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Dalziel, daughter of Thomas Dalziel of Binns.1 He married unknown Cochrane.1 He and Elizabeth Crichton obtained a marriage license on 13 January 1649.1 He died on 26 November 1649.1
     General Alexander Hamilton fought in the Thirty Years War.1 He gained the rank of General in the service of the Artillery, Swedish Army under Gustavus Adolphus, King of Sweden.1
