     John Dennis Quinlan was born on 20 July 1877 at Greymouth, New Zealand.1 He was the son of John Quinlan and Bridget Danaher.1 He married Annie Thompson, daughter of George Thompson and Bridget Martin, on 21 April 1914 at Greymouth, New Zealand.1 He died on 25 August 1954 at age 77.1
