     William Haig was a practising Write to the Signet (W.S.).1 He lived at Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.1

     James Haig was born in 1719.1 He was the son of John Haig and Elspeth Nicol.2 He married Janet Pierson, daughter of John Pierson, on 3 March 1754.1 He died in 1786.1
     James Haig was a surgeon at Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.1 He had three sons (died without issue ) and three daughters.1
