     Major John Henry Stewart-Richardson was born in 1879.1 He was the son of Henry Gresham Stewart-Richardson and Gertrude Studdert.2 He married Anne Jackson, daughter of Thomas Jackson, on 18 December 1924.1 He died on 29 November 1952.1
     Major John Henry Stewart-Richardson fought in the First World War.1 He retired from the military in 1919, with the rank of Major, late of the 9th Battalion, Royal Highlanders (Black Watch).1
