     Reverend Peter Leigh was born on 20 August 1782.1 He was the son of Egerton Leigh and Elizabeth Jodrell.1 He married, firstly, Mary Blackburne, daughter of Thomas Blackburne, on 10 November 1812.1 He married, secondly, Jane Steward, daughter of Harriot Steward, on 18 March 1828.1
     Reverend Peter Leigh graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector at Lymm, Cheshire, England.1

     Eleanor Sophia Egerton Leigh was the daughter of Egerton Leigh and Lydia Rachel Wright.2,3 She married Sir Robert Alfred Cunliffe, 5th Bt., son of Robert Ellis Cunliffe and Charlotte Howel, on 5 August 1869.1 She died on 13 March 1898.1
     From 5 August 1869, her married name became Cunliffe.

     Sir Foster Hugh Egerton Cunliffe, 6th Bt. was born on 17 August 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Alfred Cunliffe, 5th Bt. and Eleanor Sophia Egerton Leigh.2 He died on 13 July 1916 at age 40, unmarried, killed in action.1
     Sir Foster Hugh Egerton Cunliffe, 6th Bt. graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a Lecturer in Military History at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Cunliffe, of Liverpool [G.B., 1759] on 18 June 1905.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in the service of the 12th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1

     Lt.-Col. Walter Howell Cunliffe held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Oxfordshire Light Infantry.1
