Sir Robert Surtees Napier, 5th Bt. was born on 5 March 1932.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Joseph William Lennox Napier, 4th Bt. and Isabelle Muriel Surtees.2 He married Jennifer Beryl Daw, daughter of H.
