     William Davie was baptised on 13 November 1614.1 He was the son of Sir John Davie, 1st Bt. and Juliana Strode.2 He married Margaret Clarke, daughter of Christopher Clarke, on 3 October 1648.1 He died circa November 1663.1 He was buried on 28 November 1663.1
     He was Counsellor at Law, Inner Temple in 1639/40.1 He lived at DiraG.1

     Sir John Davie, 3rd Bt. was born in 1660.1 He was the son of William Davie and Margaret Clarke.2 He died on 30 September 1692, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Davie, of Creedy [E., 1641] circa July 1678.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Saltash.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1691.1
