     Neale John Patrick Hewett was born on 5 February 1931.1 He is the son of Neale Brind Stuart Hewett and Thecla Edana Davis.2 He married Felicity Ann Kerby, daughter of Bernard H. Kerby, on 9 April 1960.1
     Neale John Patrick Hewett was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 He fought in the Kenya Campaign in 1953, in operations against Mau-Mau.1 He was decorated with the award of British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) in 1953.1 He was with the Agriculture Department between 1959 and 1965 at Uganda.1 His marriage to Felicity Ann Kerby was annulled.1 He lived in 2003 at Seven Hills, New South Wales, Australia.1
