Colonel Charles Tennant Wallace1

     Colonel Charles Tennant Wallace was born on 30 April 1839.2 He is the son of Robert Wallace and Catherine Tennant.2 He married Mary von Hurter-Ammann, daughter of General Franz von Hurter-Ammann, on 17 February 1879.2 He died on 13 March 1915 at age 75.2
     He was educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He was educated at Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Highland Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 42nd Regimental District.2 He lived at Willowvale, Nairnshire, ScotlandG.1

Colonel Robert Francis Hurter Wallace of that Ilk1

     Colonel Robert Francis Hurter Wallace of that Ilk was born on 27 December 1880.2 He was the son of Colonel Charles Tennant Wallace and Mary von Hurter-Ammann.2 He married Euphemia Hoskyns, daughter of Colonel Sir Chandos Hoskyns, 10th Bt. and Jean Bannatyne Latham, on 21 September 1920.2 He died in 1970.2
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was commissioned in 1902, in the service of the Black Watch.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was severely wounded and where he was mentioned in dispatches four times.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1917.2 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1918.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Black Watch.1 He retired from the military in 1923, with the rank of Colonel.2

     Lt.-Col. Malcolm Robert Wallace of that Ilk was born on 14 December 1921.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Francis Hurter Wallace of that Ilk and Euphemia Hoskyns.2 He died on 9 December 1990 at age 68, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1945 in the Black Watch.1 He fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1951.1 He fought in the Borneo Campaign between 1964 and 1966.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders between 1964 and 1967.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 23 June 1975.2

     Lieutenant Donald Charles Wallace was born on 25 October 1923.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Francis Hurter Wallace of that Ilk and Euphemia Hoskyns.2 He died on 1 July 1944 at age 20 at Normandy, France, killed in action.1
