     Lt.-Cdr. John Anthony Stuart Crawford was the son of Captain John Stuart Crawford.2 He married Isma Rosemary Crompton-Inglefield, daughter of Colonel Sir John Frederick Crompton-Inglefield and Rosemary Scott, on 21 December 1953.1 He died on 29 January 1967, in a car crash.1
     Lt.-Cdr. John Anthony Stuart Crawford gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
