     Christobel Whitehead was the daughter of Sir George Hugh Whitehead, 2nd Bt. and Gertrude Grace Ashcroft.² She married Pierre de Putron, son of Reverend Godfrey Pierre de Putron, on 10 February 1917.¹ She died on 12 January 1982.¹
     From 10 February 1917, her married name became de Putron.¹

     2nd Lieutenant Peter de Putron was born on 14 January 1920.¹ He was the son of Pierre de Putron and Christobel Whitehead.² He died on 10 April 1941 at age 21 at Tobruk, Libya, killed in action.¹
