Sir Philip Henry Rathbone Whitehead, 4th Bt. was born on 24 July 1897.1 He is the son of Sir Rowland Edward Whitehead, 3rd Bt. and Ethel Mary Leonie Rathbone.2 He married, firstly, Gertrude Palmer, daughter of John C. Palmer, on 17 September 1929.1 He and Gertrude Palmer were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Margery Hickes, daughter of Edward Weston Hickes, on 3 October 1946.1 He died on 31 December 1953 at age 56.1

Gilbert Rathbone Whitehead was born on 15 October 1910.1 He was the son of Sir Rowland Edward Whitehead, 3rd Bt. and Ethel Mary Leonie Rathbone.2 He married Adeline Joy Rumball, daughter of Sydney Frederick Rumball, on 15 September 1934.1 He died on 18 May 1968 at age 57.1
