     Commander Sir Clive Loehnis was the son of Herman William Loehnis.1 He married Rosemary Beryl Ryder, daughter of Major Hon. Robert Nathaniel Dudley Ryder and Beryl Angas, on 17 April 1929.1 He died in 1992.1
     Commander Sir Clive Loehnis was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was Deputy Chairman of the Civil Service Selection Board in 1967.1
