     Margaret Maria Williams was the daughter of Sir John Hay Williams, 2nd Bt.1 She married Sir Edmund Hope Verney, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Harry Verney, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Hope-Vere, on 14 January 1868.1 She died on 7 October 1930.1
     Margaret Maria Williams was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 From 14 January 1868, her married name became Verney.

     Sir George Sangster Dunnett held the office of Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1947 and 1956.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1950.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1952.1 He was chairman of the Sugar Board between 1956 and 1970.1 He was chairman of International Molasses in 1970.1 He lived in 1973 at 25 Bark Place, London, England.1
