     John Reid Walker was born on 4 June 1855.1 He was the son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid.1 He married Katherine Howard Cartland, daughter of John Cartland, on 14 October 1885.3 He died on 6 March 1934 at age 78.1
     He was High Sheriff –18, Honour Colonel 4th Battalion S Lancashire Regiment Salop 1917.3 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (Staffs).3 He was Territorial Decoration (T.D.)3 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He lived in 1934 at Ruckley Grange, Shifnal, Shropshire, EnglandG.1
