     Miriam Matthews was born on 11 August 1786. She was the daughter of William Matthews and Ann Griffith. She married Jacob Burdg, son of Jacob Burdg and Judith Smith, on 9 December 1807 at Redstone, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.^G. She died after 1860.

     Jane M. Hemingway was born on 30 April 1824. She was the daughter of James Hemingway and Hope Malmsbury. She married Oliver Burdg, son of Jacob Burdg and Miriam Matthews, on 29 April 1846. She died on 5 April 1890 at age 65.
     Her married name became Burdg.

     James Hemingway was born on 23 July 1801 at New Jersey, U.S.A.^G. He was the son of James Hemingway and Elizabeth Armstrong. He married Hope Malmsbury, daughter of Benjamin Malmsbury and Jane Cattell, in 1823 at Columbiana County, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. He died on 28 January 1893 at age 91 at Missouri, U.S.A.^G.

     Hope Malmsbury was born on 7 September 1804 at Burlington County, New Jersey, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of Benjamin Malmsbury and Jane Cattell. She married James Hemingway, son of James Hemingway and Elizabeth Armstrong, in 1823 at Columbiana County, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She died on 10 May 1865 at age 60 at West Branch, Iowa, U.S.A.^G.
     Her married name became Hemingway.

     James Hemingway was born on 12 April 1760 at Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G. He was the son of Isaac Hemingway and Elizabeth Haven. He died on 15 July 1822 at age 62 at Mahoning County, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.

     Elizabeth Armstrong was born on 17 March 1757 at New Jersey, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of Ephraim Armstrong and Elizabeth McCulley. She died on 15 January 1837 at age 79 at Springfield, Mahoning County, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.

     Abigail Johnson married Thomas Smith, son of Abraham Smith and Margery (?), after 1726. She died in 1731/32.
     Her married name became Smith.

     Abraham Smith was born circa 1622. He died circa 1708 at Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, U.S.A.^G.

     William Matthews was born in March 1755. He was the son of Oliver Matthews and Hannah Johns. He married Sarah Brown Widow in 1837. He died on 20 February 1844 at age 88 at Baltimore County, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.
