     Suzanne Jane Robinson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 She graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).1 From 29 May 1981, her married name became Crook. As a result of her marriage, Suzanne Jane Robinson was styled as Baroness Crook on 18 June 2001.

     Reginald Douglas Crook, 1st Baron Crook was born on 2 March 1901.1 He is the son of Percy Edwin Crook and Charlotte Edith Rainey.2 He married Ida Gertrude Haddon, daughter of Joseph George Haddon, on 2 October 1922.1 He died in 1989.1
     Reginald Douglas Crook, 1st Baron Crook was educated at Strand School, England.1 He was Organising Secretary of the Poor Law Officers' Union between 1919 and 1925.1 He was General Secretary of the Ministry of Labour Staff Association between 1925 and 1951.1 He was member of the Civil Service National Whitley Council between 1925 and 1951.1 He was editor of Civil Service Argus between 1928 and 1951.1 He was Honorary Secretary of the Labour Party Association between 1945 and 1949.1 He was created 1st Baron Crook, of Carshalton, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 3 July 1947.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey in 1948.1 He was Member of the United Nations Administration Tribinal between 1951 and 1971.1 He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1955.1
