     Lt.-Col. Arnold William Rivers Currie was born on 25 July 1923.¹ He was the son of Major Disney Rivers Currie and Ethel Jeanette Bryce-Smith.² He married Daphne Valerie Helen Nash, daughter of Commander Reginald Nash, on 26 March 1960.¹ He died on 17 December 1973 at age 50, without issue.¹

     Harriet Sophia Currie was the daughter of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson.² She married Colonel Sir John Underwood Bateman-Champain on 2 September 1865.¹ She died on 14 August 1905.¹
     From 2 September 1865, her married name became Bateman-Champain.

     Colonel Sir John Underwood Bateman-Champain married Harriet Sophia Currie, daughter of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson, on 2 September 1865.¹ He died on 1 February 1887.¹
     Colonel Sir John Underwood Bateman-Champain gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).¹

     Susan Mary Currie was the daughter of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson.² She married Edmund Elliot Lowis, son of John Lowis, on 9 July 1863.¹ She died in 1910.¹
