     Sir Ralph Jordan Dodds, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 March 1928.3 He is the son of Sir Edward Charles Dodds, 1st Bt. and Constance Elizabeth Jordan.2 He married Marion Davies, daughter of Sir Daniel Thomas Davies and Vera Rose Clarkson, on 9 October 1954.3
     Sir Ralph Jordan Dodds, 2nd Bt. was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.3 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.3 He was commissioned in 1948, in the service of the 13th/18th Hussars.3 He retired from the military in 1958, with the rank of Captain.3 He was an underwriting member of Lloyd's between 1964 and 1997.3 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Dodds, of West Chiltington, co. Sussex [U.K., 1964] on 16 December 1973.3 He lived in 2003 at 49 Sussex Square, London, England.3
