     Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. married Elizabeth Fiennes, daughter of James Fiennes, 2nd Viscount Saye and Sele and Francis Cecil, in May 1649.¹ He died on 4 December 1682.¹
     Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. was created 1st Baronet Twisleton [England] on 10 April 1658.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Kent Militia.¹ In 1660 he forfeited his baronetcy.¹ He lived at Barlow Hall, Selby, Yorkshire, England.¹ He lived at Horsman's Place, Dartford, Kent, England.¹

     Cecil Twisleton was the daughter of Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. and Elizabeth Fiennes.² She married, secondly, Robert Mignon.¹ She married, firstly, George Twisleton, son of Lt.-Col. George Twisleton, circa 1669.¹ She died in 1723.¹
     Cecil Twisleton succeeded to the title of 4th Baroness Saye and Sele [E., 1603], de jure, whereby the abeyance was naturally terminated inasmuch as there remained only one heir rather than two or more coheirs.¹ Her married name became Mignon.¹ In 1603 (an unknown value).¹

     George Twisleton was born on 6 December 1652.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Twisleton.¹ He married Cecil Twisleton, daughter of Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. and Elizabeth Fiennes, circa 1669.¹
     George Twisleton lived at Wodhall, Wormsley, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Colonel Fiennes Twisleton was born circa 1670.¹ He was the son of George Twisleton and Cecil Twisleton.² He married Mary Clarke in 1692.¹ He died on 4 September 1730.¹
     Colonel Fiennes Twisleton gained the rank of Ensign in 1688 in the service of the 9th Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1695.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel and Adjutant-General in March 1710/11 in the service of the British Army in America.¹ He also served in Flanders, Ireland and Spain.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Saye and Sele [E., 1603] in 1723, de jure.¹

     Mary Clarke married Colonel Fiennes Twisleton, son of George Twisleton and Cecil Twisleton, in 1692.¹
     From 1692, her married name became Twisleton.¹

     John Twisleton was baptised on 16 January 1697/98.¹ He was the son of Colonel Fiennes Twisleton and Mary Clarke.² He married Anne Gardner, daughter of William Gardner, on 30 December 1733.¹ He died in 1763.¹
     John Twisleton succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Saye and Sele [E., 1603] on 4 September 1730, de jure.¹ He petitioned unsucessfully for recognition as holder of the peerage.¹

     Anne Gardner was the daughter of William Gardner.² She married John Twisleton, son of Colonel Fiennes Twisleton and Mary Clarke, on 30 December 1733.¹ She died on 14 January 1769.¹
     From 30 December 1733, her married name became Twisleton.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Twisleton was born circa 1734.¹ He was the son of John Twisleton and Anne Gardner.² He died on 21 September 1762 at Brückmühle, Cassel, Germany, killed in action, unmarried.¹
     Lt.-Col. John Twisleton gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.¹ He fought in the Battle of Brückmühle on 21 September 1762.¹

     Catherine Walker was the daughter of Edward Walker.¹ She married William Fiennes, 3rd Viscount Saye and Sele, son of Nathaniel Fiennes and Elizabeth Eliot, on 7 September 1685.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     From 7 September 1685, her married name became Fiennes.¹
