     Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. married Elizabeth Fiennes, daughter of James Fiennes, 2nd Viscount Saye and Sele and Francis Cecil, in May 1649.1 He died on 4 December 1682.1
     Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. was created 1st Baronet Twisleton [England] on 10 April 1658.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Kent Militia.1 In 1660 he forfeited his baronetcy.1 He lived at Barlow Hall, Selby, Yorkshire, England.1 He lived at Horsman's Place, Dartford, Kent, England.1

     Cecil Twisleton was the daughter of Colonel Sir John Twisleton, 1st and last Bt. and Elizabeth Fiennes.2 She married, secondly, Robert Mignon.1 She married, firstly, George Twisleton, son of Lt.-Col. George Twisleton, circa 1669.1 She died in 1723.1
     Cecil Twisleton succeeded to the title of 4th Baroness Saye and Sele [E., 1603], de jure, whereby the abeyance was naturally terminated inasmuch as there remained only one heir rather than two or more coheirs.1 Her married name became Mignon.1 In 1603 (an unknown value).1

     Colonel Fiennes Twisleton was born circa 1670.1 He was the son of George Twisleton and Cecil Twisleton.2 He married Mary Clarke in 1692.1 He died on 4 September 1730.1
     Colonel Fiennes Twisleton gained the rank of Ensign in 1688 in the service of the 9th Foot.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1695.1 He gained the rank of Colonel and Adjutant-General in March 1710/11 in the service of the British Army in America.1 He also served in Flanders, Ireland and Spain.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Saye and Sele [E., 1603] in 1723, de jure.1

     John Twisleton was baptised on 16 January 1697/98.1 He was the son of Colonel Fiennes Twisleton and Mary Clarke.2 He married Anne Gardner, daughter of William Gardner, on 30 December 1733.1 He died in 1763.1
     John Twisleton succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Saye and Sele [E., 1603] on 4 September 1730, de jure.1 He petitioned unsucessfully for recognition as holder of the peerage.1

     Lt.-Col. John Twisleton was born circa 1734.1 He was the son of John Twisleton and Anne Gardner.2 He died on 21 September 1762 at Brückmühle, Cassel, Germany, killed in action, unmarried.1
     Lt.-Col. John Twisleton gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Battle of Brückmühle on 21 September 1762.1
