Sir Eustace Edward Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 1st Bt. was born on 29 February 1864.¹ He was the son of John Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 11th Baron Saye and Sele and Lady Augusta Sophia Hay-Drummond.² He married Florence Agnes Rathfelder, daughter of John Rathfelder, on 6 November 1894.¹ He died on 9 February 1943 at age 78.¹

Sir Eustace Edward Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 1st Bt. fought in the Riel Rebellion in North-West Canada in 1885.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign between 1888 and 1889, where he was mentioned in despatches.³ He fought in the Pioneer Expedition to Mashonaland in 1890.³ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Banbury between 1906 and 1910.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) Oxford [U.K.] on 30 June 1916.¹ He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Seychelles between 1918 and 1921.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.¹ He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Leeward Islands between 1921 and 1929.³
